Why do I need an account to access certain areas of the
site?
We requre our content authors to create a profile prior
to submitting content for two reasons:
- It allows us to give proper credit to the author, and to
keep a history of all published content for that author
- The editor may need to contact you with regards to a submitted
piece before it can be published. Creating an account provides us
with contact information for each author, in case such a need were to arise.
As a member, you will have your own ACS homepage, complete
with picture, bio, email, and url address. And you'll be kept abreast of the
latest ACS news. Look, we don't want anything from you but your enthusiasm.
